New Year visit.

Lovely New Year visit for 5 days. Saw friends; had dry bright weather; and went to an excellent concert at the Ceilidh Place. No maintenance done, but added a new picture in bedroom 2 and added a few good books.

October week maintenance

A really productive week of work at the chalet. Stayed dry all week so managed lots of outdoor painting: two coats on the front of the chalet and the porch. Windows at back had two coats on the widow ledges and bottom glazing bars.
Our brilliant Joiner Gordon replaced the three misted up double glazed window units which were getting in the way of the stunning view to the North. He also replaced various roofing sheets to make sure we are ready for another Wester Ross winterand replaced the sarking around the bottom of the chalet beside the front door.
Meanwhile we also got the website updated by our webmaster in Elphin (www.ardmairselfcatering.co.uk). In between times we managed to fit in a couple of beautiful walks: Old Man of Stoer was the highlight.

Prices for 2014

Unfortunately we are having to put up the prices for 2014 by around 5%. So new prices per week will be as follows:

May £310
June £350
July £410
August £410
September £350
October £350

Sorry we have had to do this but it's necessary to cover increased energy supply and maintenance costs. We also want to keep improving the chalet as we did this year with the complete refurbishment of the bathroom.

We hope that Baigh na Mara will continue to be really good value for the area.
